Why Cynicism?

Cynical ~ adj.

1. Believing or showing the belief that people are motivated chiefly by base or selfish concerns; skeptical of the motives of others.

2. Selfishly or callously calculating.

3. Negative or pessimistic, as from world-weariness.

4. Expressing jaded or scornful skepticism or negativity.

I ask you, why are we such cynical beings? For the past few days, I've come across a few P.O. Moments. AND the best part (cynical, you think?) is, I have to keep it all under my Hat... theeeennn ahhhh!!!!

On another note, the Year of the Fire Boar starts from 1.20 pm, 4th Feb 2007 (not 18th Feb - CNY) according to Joey Yap. Generally, according to him, it's a good year. Well, we'll see, won't we? I've taken an interest in one of his studies, Mian Xiang, ie. Face Reading. Since Uncle Lee is a Graphology expert (*in awe*), I want to TRY to learn about Physiognomy. Pretty interesting, doncha think? Because the face never lies...
