Day 033 - 2 Mash-Ups in Glee
There were 2 mashups in the Glee series. One by the girls and one by the boys. I think I love the girls' better. They 'mashed up' Halo and Walking On Sunshine:


The boys did It's My Life and Confessions:


Mashup - composition created by blending two or more songs, usually by overlaying the vocal track of one song seamlessly over the music track of another.

Day 029 - Erik Grönwall : 2009 Swedish Idol
Sometimes I like to tune in to Swedish's web radio, RIX FM even though I have no idea what the Ikea they are talking about... I just love the songs they play and a few nights ago, this song was love at first tune for  me!  Of course I had no idea what the song was, so I just googled one line of the song (what i heard at that time lah) and found that it was sung by Erik Grönwall, their 2009 Idol. The name of the song, Higher, and it was the song written specially for the winner. Below is the finale by Erik...



From what I read, Erik auditioned in 2007 but didn't get through. So, he tried again 2 years later, and the rest is history. Anyway, his opponent is Calle Kristiansson:
