PEOPLE IN YOUR LIFE:

People come into your life for a REASON, a SEASON, or a LIFETIME. When you figure out which it is, you know exactly what to do.

When someone is in your life for a REASON, it is usually to meet a need you have expressed outwardly or inwardly. They have come to assist you through difficulty, to provide you with guidance and support, to aid you physically, emotionally or spiritually. They are there for the reason you need them to be.

Then without any wrongdoing on your part or at an inconvenient time, this person will say or do something to bring this relationship to an end. Sometimes they die. Sometimes they walk away. Sometimes they act up or out and force you to take a stand. What we must realize is that our need has been met, our desire fulfilled; their work is done, and it is now time to move on.

When people come into your life for a SEASON, it is because your turn has come to share, grow, or learn. They may bring you an experience of peace or make you laugh. They may teach you something you have never done. They usually give you an unbelievable amount of joy. Believe it! It is real! But, only for a season.

LIFETIME relationships teach you lifetime lessons; those things you must build upon in order to have a solid emotional foundation. Your job is to accept the lesson, love the person and put what you have learned to use in all other relationships and areas of your life. It is said that love is blind but friendship is clairvoyant.

I know this is a sad topic to discuss on a Monday but do you have any Tales of Disappointment to share? We get disappointed each time we have expectation or hope. But then again, can we live without hope or expectation? And how do you measure hope/expectations so as not to be so disappointed when you fail or fall? People always say, "Don't have such high expectations." So, how high is high? And how low is low? Difficult, eh?

A lotta things I wanted to blog. So, it'll be numbered. Oh, my stupid broadband is still OUT OF ORDER! Made a call to those TMNuts, let's see what's gonna happen in the next 2 days. I got an Error 678. Anyone has any idea what kind of error is this? Did I say that I hate dial-ups? *sigh*

01. Zeroimpact, the 5th weirdo in me is this... I only eat Assam Laksa kosong. Yes, without all the cucumber, onion, pineapple. I don't mind 'em if eaten separately but NOT together with my assam laksa. And Weirdo No. 6 is, I don't use my washing machine at home. Why? Because I can't stand the sight of my clothes piling up, so I must wash everyday. By hand. So, who uses the washing machine? Mama lah... when she's here ;) You ask about my bedsheets? Send to laundry lar! :P

05. After dinner, we watched this really farnie cartoon, Flushed Away! I tell you, this is a must watch if you wanna Stay Young! It's really entertaining! Funnier than Open Season. Very British! Very London! British-hate-French-jokes! But there's no deny that the 'stars' of this cartoon are the Singing Sea Slugs! *LOL* Yes, go get Flushed Away! Go! Go!

06. Sunday's tea-time dessert at a place called Food Foundry, located in PJ's Section 17. My friend said the 'cheese cake' is very nice, so off we went for it after lunch. Alamak... not cheese cake ler... it's called Mille Crepe Cake! OMG! It was so liuliu sweet and milky! Luckily we ordered only one piece!

Manic Monday Again

Initially, I wanted to post an entry full of colourful pics... gifts, food, dessert, cartoon... but after reading Titoki's latest entry about her dad, I couldn't do it. I mean, I already uploaded the images earlier, just not the texts and after reading her, I couldn't write the texts for the pics...

I really don't know what to say to her to make her feel better. I just hope that her dad will get well soon... She has disabled her Comments Area for the moment. If there's anything you wanna say to her, you can do it here :)

BEFORE everything happened, the Dog's name was Lucas. His mama is Winn. Winn has a blog at sapturn.blogspot.com. In her blog, she makes fun writes about her life with Lucas. Very interesting! Too bad I started reading her a tad too late, but better late than never!

Everything changed AFTER Winn posted her Liu entry here on 31st of May, 2006. Lucas became Liucas and Yours Truly started reading her after seeing her comments in L B's blog which are mostly just made out of liu liuliuliuliu liu liu. *curious*

Oh, and I also wanted to ask you your opinion on Instant Noodles. What's the Bestest instant noodles that you have tried here? Gimme the name & flavour! Why do you like the one you chose? Is it because of the 'kiu'-ness of the noodles? DYK that Lil' Joy loves the most kiu-est noodles? Is it the flavour? Or what is it??? I'm asking because I'm looking for new ones to try. Getting tired with Maggi, Mamee, Cintan, Indomie & BKT Mee liao... No, I don't eat 'em everyday. It's just that if I come home after 8 or 9 at night, I'll be so lazy to go out for dinner again, so Instant Noodles would be the answer. *hint hint Dinner Dates...*

Another Monday is over. How has it been for you? Me? Don't ask...

Quite a few things have happened in the past few days with a couple of bloggerettes feeling down and another one taking a sabbatical indefinitely. Ahhh... Life... with its Ups & Downs, huh? Don't you wish you could be Up all the time? (Why did this somehow sound errr... you know...)

This evening, while on the treadmill in the gym, I was watching a programme on Discovery Channel about the gymnasts in China preparing for the 2008 Olympic Games. The girls (gymnasts) were put through very tough training (all pain & sweat included) and are only allowed a few hours off each weekend. There was this girl who wanted to give up because she couldn't take the pressure but the dad advised her against it. He said something along this line, "Without Hardship & Pain, you wouldn't know how to appreciate the Sweetness & Good Times in life. [Darn! I really couldn't remember what he said but sounded something like that lah, ok?]

So, there you go :)

In this entry, I also would like to present my assignment to L B who tagged a few of us whereby we were forced invited to post up six mindless but color coordinated pictures. So far, the rest have come out with 3 colours; Tangerine May, Pink Chen & Brown Carcar. Me, I've decided to follow instructions be a good girl and do an Angel Red (like The One With Horns).

And since my skills in doing collage is only limited to the help I get with Picasa2, this time around, no collage. But I'm doing it with a 'theme' of my own. It's called Angel's Red London. Yes, I'm posting six spicy sexy shades of red from London! I know, I've yet to finished my London Tales... *sigh* Please forgive me. And that also reminds me, I've also yet to complete Zeroimpact's 9 Weird Things about Moi! Die! Die! (Oops, okay, I cannot die. I can only faint.) Please forgive this angel, yeah... After I read that comment, I Googled "laugh & stay young" (Dunno why!) and found this which I want to share with you...

Why Kenot Take Pictures??!!

Yesterday, I was at Mid-Valley Megamall, looking for a farewell gift for our GM. As I was walking on the Ground Floor, I spotted a new (apparels & accessories) shop, Miss Whatever. Yes, the shop's liuliu name is Miss Whatever. What caught my attention was this...

Yeah, I was attracted to the bag. Looks kinda corny, isn't it? With the chain and all. But it attracted my attention enough for me to step into the shop to check it out. The bag was RM49.90 and it did not come with the "chain", which was sold separately, prices starting from RM16.90 - RM 30++.

Anyway, I didn't get it la. Better save $$$ for this one.

But what I wanted to ask you is, why is it a 'crime' to take pictures of the shop's display?? One of the sales gurl saw me with my camera and straightaway she walked to me (I was outside the shop) and told me that I can't take pictures. But but but...

I really don't understand. Why don't these people allow shoppers/tourists take pictures??? What, they think that I'll steal their Whatever pattern and then open a shop directly opposite them with the name Miss Whoever?! Sheesh... This reminded me of the time when I was told that I can't take pictures of MY FOOD at Waterlily Cafe in Puchong.
