My Appearl, My Macbook

Am I unlucky or am I unlucky? My 3 month old white Macbook, ApPearl died on me just now. I think the battery kaputed liao because I couldn't switch on the lappie although it has been fully charged last night. This is SOOOOOOOO not good! Why me??? Actually, it died on me two nights ago when I was happily chatting online. I thought the battery no more juice, so what else, charge it lah. Then just now when I wanted to switch it on, it refused to start up. Very TNS!!! I want my money backkkk!!! Luckily I brought along the charger... I'm now at a Starbucks. Moral of the story, don't leave your lappie charger at home ;)

Okay, so what am I Yatta-ing about? My new Toy... The Greatest Fruit On Earth... The Apple Computer... Yup, I've converted from this...




...all thanks to great influence by Le Apple Emperor & Concubine M. Oh, and another friend too, who wanted to get the same 'toy'.

Mine is Pearl(y), my friend's is Blackie... Kakaka...

Okay, initally, I wanted to get the Pro version (RM7,799) but in the end, I chickened out because this is my first Appearl©, I thought that I should start to 'walk' first instead of run for fear of 'falling down' h.a.r.d. on my face... well, not literally, of course!

And when I thought, okay, Blackie should be it (which is RM700 more expensive than the white, the only difference is the hardisk space, 40GB more, and the colour of course) because a White would turn Black in no time! But when I was at the Premium Reseller store, Machines at Mid-Valley Megamall last week, Joewen changed my mind. Yeah, this chap did some sales talk to me about the Airport Express and... I am a sucker.

So, for RM5,858, I got the white 13-inch 2.0GHz Intel Core 2 Duo (with 1GB memory, 80GB hard drive), a blue iPod Shuffle (FOC), the Wireless Mighty Mouse (FOC), a black sleeve for the MacBook, keyboard protector (like the iPod skin) and Airport Express Base Station with AirTunes. (Freethinker, 9 other users can share Internet connection with me. See, I no bluff you...)

Nah, scau, the Nipple that Rolls...

My verdict? So far, I love what I see. Way more canggih than Windows and I think it's also smarter than Windows. How so? Dunno how to explain, just take my word for it lah! I still have a lot to learn and I feel so challenged. Anyone else out there can help this damsel? Helppp, cp1!!!
