Nuffnang Pajama Party

Last nite (Sat), I was at Nuffnang's Pajama Party, thanks to Sheon's invite. Reached there 7 plus and bumped into the first familiar face, Nicholas, in his dark blue pj's and Patrick (the red dog) bedroom slippers at the entrance. The last time I met him was 2006, in London. How did I know him? Haaa.. from blogs lah, where else? Anyway, it was really nice to see him again.

Then found Sheon, was introduced to a few very young girls... yup, indeed the place was full of young boys & girls... So, 'auntie' here was kinda out of place... but s'ok 'cos 'auntie' still got the 'young look', so can blend in... ;P

Spied Wingz upstairs and made my way to say hi. On the way, guess who passed by? I called out to him, "Leonard!" He turned and looked at me, gave me the blur unfamiliar face. Cos he doesn't know how I look like maa... Told him, who I am, but he still got look a bit blur haha.. must be he was hungry la... Nice to meet you, Leonard, although it was just a brief one!

Then, party ended, time to go home... Thanks for the invite, Sheon! I enjoyed 'watching' the party haaha... But guess what happened to moi?

I phok kai just outside the club... Goodness, it was quite a fall because I landed on my fours (both knees and palms) Go imagine lah! Had my phone on my hand. I was of course in 'shock' as I got up, and there was this really nice guy (and from the corner of my eyes, I spied that he's quite good looking also... haha) who came over in a hurry and asked me how I was. That time I sudah shocked, so the words that came out (I think!) was, "I'm okay," and I just continue walking away (Duh!!) although my right knee was hurting ouch! Thought it was bleeding but thank god, it wasn't. The left ankle hurt quite a bit too... must have twisted it a bit. Came home, saw a bump on the ankle and quickly iced it... now, yours truly is kinda 'crippled'... reminded me of the time I phok kai at Puduraya's staircase. I fell 2-3 steps, and twisted the ankle. Aihhh... I'm sucha klutz!

So, that was my Saturday! Mom thinks I shouldn't simply go anywhere on my own becos she said this year, I fan tai sui... How now, brown cow?

Last Week...

Let's see, where should I start...

Last Thursday night, I suppose... last Thursday night, Ehon aka Val Kilmer arrived from Adelaide and coincidentally, L B was scheduled to leave for Italy on the same night as well. This is a very big coincidence, don't you think? I've never gone to the airport to fetch one person and send off another person on the same day, around the same time!

So, there they met and fell in love had a good laugh for 20 minutes. After saying goodbyes, hugs & kisses, ehon & I went for supper at a coffeeshop in Puchong. Oh, and he bought me a packet of Haigh's Chocolates. With Macadamia nuts. Yum!

The next morning, we had to get up at 5am because he had a plane to catch at 7am. And, I was at work by 7 in the morning... almost everyone asked me what happened 'cos I usually check in to work after... err... 10am... *blush*

Friday evening, a night out with the ladies, dinner at a Vietnamese restaurant, followed by Jacky Cheung's 2007 World Tour Concert at Bukit Jalil Stadium, and finally, supper! The ladies, Laundryamah, King's Wife & Jazzmint.

Whirlwind Weekend

Actually, I didn't think of updating wan... but since ehon dropped a comment saying that he 'sensed' I'm gonna update soon, I couldn't bear to let him down. So, I'll just update for the sake of updating.

Well, it has been a hectic weekend, started with Friday evening's dinner at TGIF, followed by dessert (yummy!!!) at Bakerzin Bangsar Village, Saturday brunch at Ah Sang's Bak Kut Teh in PJ, Saturday evening's Satay Party at Mudpie's, followed by Apocalypto and half of 300, Sunday's brunch at Jarrod & Rawlins, Damansara Heights area with a group of beautiful people, then followed by a sneak preview of the Queen's New Palace (very wow!) and to round it up, an ice cream treat over at The Curve's Baskin Robbin's.

The after effect?

Diarrhea lor... I think, about 8-9 times the whole of yesterday... what goes in, must come out... *prooot* I thought of taking a snapshot of what came out but then again I thought, it's really evil if I did that... muahahaha!!!

Gee... it wasn't so difficult to update after all, was it? :p

It has been a crazy week! So many things to do in so little time... BUT, the best thing of all is, we can still Make Time™ to do other things that we wanna do, like going for The King & I on a weekday night. My verdict, love it, love it, love it! On top of that, it was also because of my Partner-in-Crime who made the outing, fun. Like the last time, giggles were exchanged before, in-between & after the show.

Another highlight of the week was my meet-up with Lil' Misha, the youngest hip-hop-happening-future-supermodel from the blog! Anyone who meets her will surely be smitten... Thank you for the chocolates, Misha! And also thank you to Misha's Pwetty Mummy, the chaperon of the night, for the dinner...

Last night, there was a small bloggers' meet up at Subang Parade. We went to meet up with Wennnn for the first time, and her Jon, together with Penny, her aunt whom she calls "mummy". The rest of the attendees were Laundryamah, Sasha & baby Jayden, Aceone, Kenny, Nyonyapenang & Winn.

First, it was dinner at Esquire Kitchen Restaurant, followed by dessert at Swensens. Wennnn became the Santa Rina as she had gifts for all of us. Me, I got an Angel's Notebook & a Superstar Keychain. Thanks, Wennnn! It was nice meeting you, Jon & Penny!

To all the Taggers who have diligently been tagging me (almost everyday!), thanks for all the love you have showered, I'll need time to answer them... My mind has been very tired lately...

Together Gather Bloggers' Party 2007 - 9th March 2007

Naaaaa!!! Since my leng-leng pic is ALL over the Internet now, I might as well post it up here also! Grrrr!!! (Picture courtesy of Cocka Doodle.) kyh, you wanna see how angie looks like, come to KL! *wink*

I shall not do any reviews but if you wanna read any, just head here. I went thru' almost all the entries about the Together Gather Party 2007 to see if my pretty pic is posted anywhere. Luckily only appear in the group photo, which I'm sure those who know me will be able to spot me quite easily. Anyway, the reviews were compiled by someone, dunno who he is... For me, I just want to thank the Organising Committee for their time & effort in putting up this mega meet.

And also to note down a few 'new' people we (me, CP1, Cocka, King's Wife & Zeroimpact) met that night. At our table, we met Golfnick & his "site-admin" (Both really farnie guys! You might wanna check 'em out if you are into golf... Moz?), flsam & Kenny Lee. I also shook hands with two famous-amos bloggers, ahpek & minishorts. And, not forgetting two macho guys whom I knew from their blogs and only met them face to face that night, sotongking & zewt. Nice meeting everyone!

Oh yeah, a minor 'mishap' happened to yours truly that night. After about 20 minutes after sitting down at Table No. 7 in Skyroom, Federal Hotel, guess what happened? My shoe (espadrille) went koyak!!! (I wore the shoes less than 10x, only okay..) OMG! It was a nightmare! How did my shoe koyak? I don't have a pic now, I'll remember to take a pic of it later because it's still in the car...

What did I do? I needed to find a stapler to staple it so that I could at least staple it and wear it to the carpark to get another pair of shoes. I then called 'my hero', asked him if he could find a stapler for me but he couldn't find one. So, I just walked barefooted to the lift.

Along my way, everyone asked me what happened etc. but I was very lucky because when I reached the reception area, Shireen & Janice saw what happened and Janice said that she'll lend me her slippers. Phew! I didn't have to walk barefooted after that. Bumped into King's Wife & Cocka at the reception area and King's Wife was so kind to accompany me to the car to get my other pair of espadrilles. (Guys, now you know why we women need more than 3 pairs of shoes!)

I was very upset because that pair of koyak-ed shoes matched my dress 100%. But what to do... So, it was not a very auspicious way to start the Friday night.

Nevertheless, the bloggers' party went on until 11pm and after that, it was Crooning Session at Low Yat Plaza's Redbox Karaoke. Only 4 of us went and 3 of us left around 3am. How's that for a Friday night party? *wink* And now, it's already Monday... *groans* Have a good one, anyhow!

Monday again. Not a very good one because half day through work today, I just can't stand it anymore because of the cramp, and went home, slept from 3-8pm... ha... terror neh... Am much better now, thank you!

So, last Friday night, we had the Unmasking Pink Cotton Ceremony at Wong Ah Wah Restaurant, Jalan Alor, KL. (Addendum @ 3.15am - We also got to meet Monk[t]icon too for the first time that day.)
