My lovely friend has a Dell Inspiron 6400 notebook. Just now, we tried to speak to each other using Yahoo! Messenger but the liuliu thing was, I couldn't hear my friend "speaking" but she could hear my voice! So, I was yakking away on my side whilst she was typing away and we tried to figure out what was the problem but we failed after about half an hour... I was thinking, cannot be the relatively new notebook doesn't have a built-in microphone, right?? Anyone of you working in Dell Support? Or a notebook expert?

Dell notebook doesnt have intergrated microphone because im using dell notebook as well. Only acer those brand might come with microphone some model. Dell inspiron & Dell lattitude doesnt come i think. Have to plug in your own microphone..
The microphone could be faulty. Is the notebook still under warranty? If yes, go and call up Dell Support for service and repair. :)

my dell kaput liao after the mother board stop working and refuse to charge after one year. hope dell wont ask you to send back to penang for serving and they will charge you for the logistic. thats why i never buy dell after this experience.
